About these addition and subtraction with regrouping
Regrouping (also called carrying and borrowing) is the big step in Grade 2 and Grade 3 math. Every problem on these sheets needs at least one regroup, so children practise the exact skill they need.
Tips for practice
Encourage children to work from right to left, starting with the ones, and to write the carried or borrowed ten clearly above the next column.
